Terms of use

The basics for using Lock In. By using the site, you agree to these.

What Lock In is

Lock In is a free study tool for the Digital SAT. Practice questions, the island path, the Mistake Bank and the score estimate are all free to use.

Not the College Board

Lock In is independent. SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, Lock In. For official tests, registration and scores, go to the College Board and the Bluebook app.

The score estimate

The estimated score is a rough guide based on how you do on our practice questions. It isn't an official score and it doesn't predict or promise any result on test day.

The questions

Our questions are written for practice in the style of the Digital SAT. They aren't real SAT questions. We check them carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, please tell us and we'll fix it.

Accounts

Accounts are free. Keep your password to yourself, since there's no email reset yet. Usernames show on leaderboards, so they have to be appropriate. We may remove usernames, leagues or accounts that are offensive, that impersonate someone, or that cheat the leaderboard.

Your progress

Without an account, progress is saved only on your device. If you clear your browser data or use private browsing, it can be lost and we can't recover it.

Fair use of the site

The calculator

The graphing calculator is provided by Desmos and is subject to Desmos's own terms.

No guarantees

Lock In is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the site.

Changes

We may update the site and these terms. If the terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using Lock In after that means you accept the new version.
